What is fused glass?
Glass fusing is the process of combining one or more pieces of glass or frit (crushed glass) by heating them in a kiln until they bond together to create unique designs. Some pieces go through multiple kiln firings to achieve the final appearance.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, Alacrity Glass loves to make specially requested pieces! If you are interested in commissioning a piece, email [email protected] to discuss whether we can accommodate your request.
Do you teach fused glass classes?
Unfortunately, no. At this time, Alacrity Glass does not offer classes teaching how to make fused glass.
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. Of course, if an item arrives damaged, we are happy to work with you to resolve any issues.
How are pieces priced?
All items are handmade, and the prices reflect the cost of goods required to complete each piece.
